We are honoured to be named the winner of the AlphaKOR Innovation Award at the Calgary Small Business Awards, hosted by the Calgary Chamber of Commerce on October 23, 2026. The award recognizes businesses that challenge the status quo, solve complex problems, and move their industry forward through technology and new ideas.
For over 25 years, we have developed purpose-built software for energy operations that connects field teams and the office with the data they need. More than 30,000 users across energy, environmental, renewables, and utilities rely on our platform every day. Over the past three years we've launched AbaData AI, further developed products such as Field Ops, Pipeline Integrity, and Equipment Management, acquired three companies, more than tripled our team, and began expanding into global markets.
The goal behind all of it is helping energy companies move from reacting to problems to predicting and preventing them.

The gala brought together more than 30 finalists across 10 award categories. It was a room full of passionate, innovative entrepreneurs from across the city.
From the welcome speech by Deborah Yedlin, President and CEO of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, to an action-filled evening by MCs Connor Curran, Founder of Local Laundry, Melanie McDonald, Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, Partnership & Engagement of the Calgary Chamber, and Ian MacDonald, Director of Business Development at MNP, it was an unforgettable event.
